It was my first visit to this much heard about market from relatives and friends.
I needed someone unique in this market, a small kind of ηι±Όπ found only here.
To help first time visitors to this market, the nearest carpark would be the one at:
Trengganu/Smith Streets
I parked for slightly exceeding an hour for only S$1.83. The carpark is automated so no parking coupons are required.
Being first time, searching where the market was no easy feat. To help those going for the first time like myself,
it is located at basement as shown on the picture below.
The food centre are located on the second floor like this..
Lots of Singapore local hawker food can be found here. Carparks are located on the third floors and above.

Overall, I love the Kreta Ayer Market for its variety of goods. It is however disappointing on maintainance despite efforts on refurbishing the food centre. As always, please weigh in your own opinion when you visit the market yourself. I will definitely come again for its excellent fresh fish and seafood. It is definitely not a wet market to be missed if you are a wet market fan.
